National UFO Conference: Website & Banners

In 2005 Lisa Davis as the Executive Director, approached me to create all the marketing materials for the 2005 National UFO Conference.

The campaign consisted of a new website, business cards, and several large format print materials for the conference. The website was built off of the Joomla platform for ease of use for the client.

The order consisted of a 20′ x 10′ Wall Banner, 16 – 30″x60″ Pole Banners, ans 2 – 10′x5′ Banners. My print vendor of choice was Promotional Advertising Solutions and they did a great job in such a short timeframe.

The event was held at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel in Los Angeles in September 2005. Below are some photos of the event an the banners. Photo’s graciously provided by alienstranger.com.

Sky Box Sports Grill: Busines Cards

In 2004, Sky Box sports grill opened up next door to the UPS Store I was employed at. They heard of the good design and printing service I had provided other businesses in the community and requested I do the same for them.

They wanted something to represent a hi-tech sports bar because their main emphasis was the massively large screen TV’s they use to surround the entire restaurant.

Clairemont Hawks: League Yearbook

Clairemont Hawks, is a non profit youths football league in San Diego hosting 6 different divisions.

In 2004, the Hawks league approached me to redesign the season’s photo book.

The UPS Store: Flyer

UPS needed to create flyer advertise a promotion of free insurance if they were the ones to pack your package before shipping. To do this I had take a photo of their staff packing some items int oa box and then utilized Adobe Illustrator to create the shown illustration.

Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory: Business Cards & Flyer

In 2004, Rocky Mountain Chocolate factory approached me to create new business cards based off their standard branding conventions. I then took a look at several packaging materials created by their corporation and created the card shown here.

In 2004, the printing and copying services provided by the UPS Store in Clairemont had been separated into two businesses for legal and royalty reasons. They then needs to build a brand name in which the first front line was the marketing materials in which they gave brochures out with.

Timewarner Cable: Newsletter

In 2004, while working at the UPS Store in Clairement, Timewarner Cable requested that we design a newsletter in response to their competitors efforts (Cox Communications). The newsletter was intended to be an internal update for their employees. Beyond designing, I also provided the printing, folding and custom bindery for more than a thousand copies.

Held Captive: Book

In early 2004, Melvon Anderson approached me while I was working at UPS. She needed to have a book cover designed that represented the overwhelming stress of workers compensation and being denied.

I then created the concept shown which then the cover became after a couple revisions. The book has sold thousands of copies to date.

Pirate Tactics

After creating the cover work and performing the video production of “No Talking” another skateboarding approached me to help with their project. Lucas, a veteran skateboarder liked my work with the previous video and requested I help him with his video called Pirate Tactics. The video went straight to DVD and had only a small production for VHS. Below is an example of the VHS cover. Video clip will be posted here in the future.

S-ONE: Magazine Ad

In promotion to Matt Ballard’s effort to promote his video in skateboarding magazines, he managed to barter a deal to get some free advertisement space through S-one skateboards. Who offered a thumbnail and description within their ad in which I had designed. The photo was taken by Matt Ballard and is of Lincoln Nass. I am uncertain if the ad has ever been published.
